2. These Civil Revision Petitions have been filed seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of the execution proceedings initiated pursuant to the Arbitral Awards.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the applications filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 challenging the Awards were dismissed by this Court on 20.08.2025, taking note of the pendency of the Execution Petition from 28.11.2023, which was subsequently numbered as E.P. No. 34 of 2024. It is further submitted that the respondents are unnecessarily prolonging the proceedings without even filing a counter affidavit. 2/5

A perusal of the daily order sheets reveals that the Execution Petition has been repeatedly adjourned on the ground that the third respondent has to file counter affidavit, despite the dismissal of the Arbitration O.P. under Section 34 of the Act, as recorded in the proceedings dated 17.10.2025. The Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rahul S. Shah v. Jinendra Kumar Gandhi and Others, reported in (2021) 6 SCC 418, has issued specific directions to all Executing Courts to dispose of execution petitions, as far as possible, within a period of six months.

In the light of the aforesaid directions and considering the limited prayer sought for in these Revisions, this Court is of the view that no prejudice would be caused to the respondents by issuing a direction for early disposal. Accordingly, while dispensing with notice to the respondents, the Executing Court is directed to dispose of E.P. Nos. 34 and 35 of 2024, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 30.06.2026.

6. With the above direction, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
