Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order issued by the first respondent in Po.Thu.Na.Ka.No.E13/01796/09 dated 03.02.2009, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to provide the petitioner an employment on compassionate ground on the death of her father namely E.Krishnan son of Elumalai on 01.10.1992 who worked as a Road Worker in Division number 150, unit 29 and Zone 10 under the respondents herein, in proportionate to the petitioner's educational and other qualifications.

The petitioner is challenging the order issued by the Commissioner, Public Department, Chennai Corporation, Chennai, in Po.Thu.Na.Ka.No.E13/01796/09 dated 03.02.2009, and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consequently direct the respondents herein to provide the petitioner an employment on compassionate ground on the death of her father namely E.Krishnan son of Elumalai on 01.10.1992 who worked as a Road Worker in Division number 150, unit 29 and Zone 10 under the respondents herein, in proportionate to the petitioner's educational and other qualifications.

2. This case came up for hearing on 17.08.2018. There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, the case is adjourned today i.e., 18.09.2018, under the caption "for dismissal".

3. Today also there is no appearance for the petitioner in both calls. The writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
