O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry and to pass orders within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that there is an ongoing dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents, which lead to an FIR registered in Crime No.66 of 2024 under Section 107 of Cr.PC. Directions were issued by directing both the parties to maintain peace. While so, on 30.10.2024, the petitioner received a notice from the 2nd respondent asking the petitioner to attend the enquiry. No enquiry was conducted and due to the pendency of the enquiry, the petitioner was not able to properly enjoy the subject property. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 06.02.2025, this Court directed the learned Special Government Pleader, to take instructions as to 2/4

whether the enquriy is pending before the 2nd respondent. 4.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the enquiry is still pending before the 2nd respondent. 5.

In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry after hearing both the parties and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
