PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Declaration to declare the land in survey No.147/1 to an extent of 1.25 acres at Kilambakkam Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District is the absolute land of the petitioner company in view of the Repealed Act 20 of 1999 as abated. ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court bundle.

2.In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
