This writ petition is filed seeking for mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to provide the information under the Right to Information Act, 2005, based on the representation of the petitioner's friend dated 26.12.2019.
2. Even from the very prayer, it is evident that the petitioner is not the applicant under the Right to Information Act, 2005, and on the other hand, his friend seems to have made some application under the RTI Act, 2005. If no information is provided on the application submitted by the petitioner's friend, only such person has to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, more particularly, under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the provisions made under the RTI Act, before the competent authority instead of filing the present writ petition, that too, not by the said applicant, but by his friend viz., the petitioner herein.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs.
