This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.508 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent, registered for the offences under Sections 468, 470, 420 147 and 506(i) of

IPC.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.508 of 2016 has been completed and the final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Annur on 30.12.2024. The same has not yet been taken on file. Hence, the prayer sought for has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
