O R D E R

The civil revision petition is filed seeking direction for expeditious disposal of the proceedings in HMOP No.459 of 2015 pending on the file of Subordinate Judge, Tambaram.

2. The petitioner is the wife and respondent is the husband. The petitioner/wife has filed HMOP No.459 of 2015 on the file of Subordinate Judge, Tambaram against the respondent/husband seeking divorce on the grounds of cruelty and desertion. The petition was filed in the year 2015 and the same is still pending. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed this present civil revision petition for a direction to the Trial Judge to dispose of the case within a time frame.

3. Further, pursuant to the direction of this Court, the Registry, on verification through e-filing, has reported that the total pendency of the Subordinate Court, Tambaram., is 666 cases.

4. Considering the total pendency of the cases and also taking note of the fact that the above petition was filed in the year 2015, the Subordinate Judge, Tambaram, is directed to dispose of HMOP No.459 of 2015, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. 11.03.2024 Index: Yes/No Internet: Yes/No mrn To The Subordinate Judge, Tambaram.
