The prayer sought for herein is to direct the 2nd and 3rd Respondents to fix petitioner seniority based on the promotion as Supervisor Trainee when he became eligible upon passing the written exams conducted on 31.7.1988 and participated in the personal interview.

2. When the case came up for hearing on 04.02.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence it was directed to be listed today under the caption "For Dismissal". https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, this writ petition is posted today "For Dismissal".

3. Today also, when the case is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent BHEL appeared and would submit that, the petitioner had already retired from service and he has received all the service benefits.

4. Be that as it may. Since the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter, as there is no representation continuously for two hearings on behalf of the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
