O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant Registration/License to the petitioner to run aqua farm in S.Nos.649, 650/2, 651 & 655 situate in Nadukkuppam Village, Marakkanam Taluk, Villupuram District by considering the application dated 04.07.2016.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2016, the 1st respondent has not considered the same and passed orders so far.

3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
