ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition to quash the order of the respondent dated 29.03.2017 and consequently, direct the respondent to grant permission to organize Fasting on 11.04.2017 at the Southern side of Kunnathur Bus Stand with microphone and speaker.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has submitted a representation dated 25.03.2017 to the respondent seeking permission to conduct fasting scheduled to be held on 30.03.2017 from 8.00am to 6.00pm at Southern side of Kunnathur Bus Stand. By order dated 29.03.2017, the said representation was rejected by the respondent stating that in the event of the same being allowed, there is a likelihood of law and order problem in the area. Aggrieved over the same, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3. This Court is of the view that since the date on which the Fasting was scheduled to be held on 30.03.2017, was over, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the relief sought for herein has become infructuous. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
