..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider and include the name of the petitioner in the appropriate place for promotion to the Post of Forester by transfer from Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service/Assistant Draughtsman category, after taking into account her eligibility as on the crucial date on par with her Junior and to fix the petitioner's seniority in the post of Forester on par with her immediate junior, to grant all consequential and attendant service benefits, including notional promotion, fixation of pay, and consideration for further promotion, strictly in accordance with law.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.08.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has made a representation, dated 28.08.2025 before the respondents seeking inclusion of her name in the appropriate place for promotion to the post of Forester by transfer from Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service/Assistant Draughtsman category, after taking into account her eligibility as on the crucial date on par with her junior and to fix the seniority in the post of Forester on par with her immediate junior, to grant all consequential and attendant service benefits, including notional promotion, fixation of pay and consideration for further promotion. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues

direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2025, as expeditiously as possible.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2025 will be considered and appropriate order will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.08.2025, within a period of Twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
