direct the 2nd respondent to conduct and enquiry and levy the property tax on the portion which the 2nd respondent determines as a commercial area.

ORDER

The present writ petition is filed with the prayer to quash the order dated 23.01.2025 and to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry and levy the property tax on the portion which the 2nd respondent determines as a commercial area.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a demand was made to the extent of Rs.33,441/- relating to property tax, which according to the petitioner has already been remitted. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that despite the fact that the petitioner had already remitted the property tax demanded, the property which according to the petitioner is a residential premises has been locked and sealed.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the

premise has already been de locked and de sealed.

4. Recording the same the writ petition stands closed as nothing survives for adjudication. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
