Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to (i) extend the time of suspension of sentence period order passed in C.A.Nos.398,399 & 400/2017 dated 11.07.2017 (Crl.MP.Nos.10703/2017 in Crl.A.No.398/2017) Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C. PRAKASAM, Advocate for the petitioner (CRL.MP.NO.10703,10708 & 10709/2017 IN CRL.A.NO.398,399 & 400/2017)of MR. R. SEKAR, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent (IN ALL THE PETITIONS) the court made the following order:-

The petitioners are the appellants in Crl.A.Nos.398, 399 & 400 of 2017 and they were granted interim bail on 01.09.2017, pending disposal of the appeal, subject to the condition that they should deposit Rs.12,00,000/- on or before 05.09.2017.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that pursuant to the order of this court, they have deposited Rs.12,00,000/- and prayed for regular bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has not raised any serious objection and similarly placed accused have been granted bail by this court.

4. Having regard to the fact that the petitioners have deposited Rs.12,00,000/- so as to enable the competent authority to distribute the amount to the depositors and that similarly placed the accused have been granted bail, pending disposal of the bail, I am inclined to grant bail to these petitioners also, by suspending the sentence, subject to the following condition.

5. The substantive sentence of imprisonment imposed on the petitioners by the Trial Court alone is hereby suspended till the disposal of the appeal and the petitioners are ordered to be enlarged on bail on their executing a bond for Rs.5,000/- [Rupees Five thousand only] each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act Cases, Coimbatore, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on further condition that the petitioners shall report before the said Court once in a week on every Monday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
