PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.11.2014 and to appoint an enquiry commission to look into the irregularities of the Administration of the Executive Committee of the Volley Ball Federation of India i.e. respondents 4 to 6 herein over the period from

14.07.2013 to 31.11.2014 and to conduct the fresh election for the formation of new Executive Committee for the Volley Ball Federation of India having its Head Quarters at Room No.72, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai - 600 003, within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 19.11.2014 and to appoint an enquiry commission to look into the irregularities of the Administration of the Executive Committee of the Volley Ball Federation of India over the period from 14.07.2013 to 31.11.2014

2. The Writ Petition was filed in the year 2014 almost 6 1⁄2 years lapsed. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, elections were conducted and the elected office bearers are now administering the association. This being the factum, if any grievance exist to the writ petitioner, it is for the petitioner to approach the competent authority for redressal of the same.

3. With this direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
