Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order Na.Ka.No.C1/12841/2008 dated 13.01.2009 issued by the 3rd respondent and quash the same in so far as it debars the petitioners for promotion to the post of Assistant in the 3rd respondent Corporation and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to promote the petitioners as Assistant with due seniority and all other attendant benefits, including monetary benefits, award costs.

Mr.B.Neduncheziyan, learned counsel appearing for M.G.Sankaran, learned counsel on record for the third respondent has filed today an additional typed-set dated 02.09.2021, wherein, vide proceedings of the Commissioner, Tirupur Corporation dated 03.09.2010, the first petitioner viz., Mr.V.Rajasekar was promoted to the post of Assistant from 03.09.2010.
2. As far as the second petitioner viz., R.Baskar is concerned, he appears to have resigned from the post of Junior Assistant on 02.10.2009 and has found alternate employment as Assistant Manager, Lakshmi Vilas Bank.
3. Recording the aforesaid, nothing further survives in this writ petition and the same is closed. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
