A.No.744 of 2022 A.No.744 of 2022 in O.P.No.147 of 2019 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J This application is filed to condone the delay of 121 days in filing the review application. The applicant asserts that the review application is filed on the basis of material documents which were traced recently and make out a case to review the order. The application is opposed by the respondent by relying upon the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in University of Delhi -vs- Union of India (2020)13 Supreme Court Cases 745, wherein the Supreme Court held that the reasons for delay should be adequately explained in the affidavit in support of the application.

2. The applicant has stated both in paragraphs 6 and 7 that the review application could not be filed earlier since the documents on which such application is founded were discovered recently. It is stated that such documents were discovered in or about January 2022. In the facts and circumstances, this constitutes sufficient cause.
