O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that at the time of admission of the present writ petition, this Court directed the writ petitioner to deposit the entire award amount. Accordingly, the Award amount had been deposited by the writ petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that on account of efflux of time, the Management also has taken a decision to settle the said amount in favour of the 2nd respondent workman. In view of the said decision taken by the Management, the 2nd respondent workman is permitted to withdraw the deposited amount with accrued interest.

3. In this view of the matter, 2nd respondent is at liberty to file an appropriate application before the 1st respondent for the withdrawal of the deposited amount with accrued interest. In the event of filing any such application, the 1st respondent shall verify the identity of the 2nd respondent and disburse the deposited amount with accrued interest as expeditiously as possible and without causing any undue delay.

4. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
