Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to call for the entire records leading to the detention of petitioner's son Vijayakumar, son of Gajendiran, son of Malaravan, male, aged about 29 years is presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal at Chennai and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a "Goonda" vide detention order dated 17.01.2018 on the file of the second respondent herein, made in Memo No.23 / BCDFGISSSV / 2018 and to quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Court thereafter, set him at liberty from the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.M. SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submit that the case of the detenu in this habeas corpus petition was considered by the Advisory Board and the order of detention was revoked in G.O.Rt.No.924, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department, dated 12.03.2018.

2. In view of the said order of the Government, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in this petition. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
