The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 10.03.2017 and 17.03.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's application dated 10.03.2017 and 17.03.2017 for issuance of patta, the respondent has not passed any order so far. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the petitioner had paid the requisite fee before the respondent. 3.Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to pass orders in accordance with law. 4.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.03.2017 and 17.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
