Mr.D.Suriyanarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 10.06.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for rectification of the records in respect of classification of the subject matter land. According to the petitioner, the subject matter land was wrongly classified as "Anathinam".

3. Heard both sides.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
