No.8, South by Plot No.10, East by 30 feet Road (2nd Main Road) West by Land in Survey No.14/1 measuring on North by: 61 feet south by: 61 feet East by: 40 feet, west by: 40 feet situated within the Registration District of south Chennai and Sub Registration District of Virugambakkam, Chennai in petitioner favour.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that since the Land Ceiling Act has been abolished, the petitioner has once again become the rightful owner of the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, which was earlier subject matter of the land ceiling proceedings. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same. 3.The petitioner claims for issuance of patta in his name for the said property. Since the representation of the petitioner for the said purpose was not considered by the respondent, this writ petition has been filed.
4.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner will have to submit an online application before the 3rd respondent so as to enable the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application for issuance of patta.
6.Learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction would submit that the petitioner is now willing to submit a fresh online application before the 3rd respondent.
7.No prejudice will be caused to the 3rd respondent if the petitioner is directed to submit an online application seeking for issuance of patta for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the said application on merits and in accordance with law, by giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners, if any and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
8.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit a fresh online application to the 3rd respondent seeking for issuance of patta for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said application within the stipulated time, the 3rd respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, by giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners, if any and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter. No costs.
