W.P.No.1875/2010: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the notice issued by the 2nd respondent in Bill No.584 DN.48, dated 08.01.2010 in the name of the petitioner and also in the name of the petitioner's father M.Singara Mudaliar and quash the same.

W.P.No.1876/2010: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the notice issued by the 2nd respondent in Bill No.584 DN.48, dated 08.01.2010 and quash the same.

For Petitioners : No appearance COMMON ORDER When the matters were listed for hearing on 04.09.2018, there was no representation on either side and the matters were adjourned by one week. Subsequently, when the matters were listed for hearing on 17.09.2018, there was no representation on either side. Hence, the matters were adjourned by one week. Thereafter, when the matters were listed on 24.09.2018 also, there was no representation for the petitioners and the matters were adjourned by one week. Thereafter, when the matters were listed for hearing on 22.10.2018, even on that day, there was no representation for the petitioners. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to list the matters on 23.10.2018 under the caption for dismissal. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

In these circumstances, this court left with no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petitions for non prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are dismissed for non prosecution No costs.
