ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to measure the petitioner's land in R.S.No.1187(Old S.F.No.345) at Kundadam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District as per Settlement Deed dated 12.10.2021 in Doc.No.9060 of 2021 on the file of Sub Registrar, Dharapuram and issue a separate sub-division number and patta for his name by considering the petitioner's application dated 22.08.2022.

In order to survey the land and to identify the four boundaries of the petitioner's land in R.S.No.1187(Old S.F.No.345) at Kundadam Village of Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, the petitioner has filed an application on 22.08.2022 to the first respondent Tahsildar and in order to consider the same and to do the needful, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.N.Ponraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by the first and second respondents within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, there shall be a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 22.08.2022 and the needful shall be undertaken within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
