Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Declaration, declaring the action of the respondent in calling for Tender by notice dated 11.02.2009 by bearing Ref.No.PFD/MAA/37/114 for the work of Plumbing maintenance work in the respondent premises for the year 2009-2010 at Chennai Airport as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Award of the Labour Court passed in I.D.No.121 of 2005.

O R D E R

The action of the respondent in calling for Tender by notice dated 11.02.2009 bearing Ref.No.PFD/MAA/37/114 for the work of Plumbing maintenance work in the respondent premises for the year 2009-2010 at Chennai Airport is illegal, arbitrary and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

contrary to the Award of the Labour Court passed in I.D.No.121 of 2005.

2. The Award passed in I.D.No.121 of 2005 is quashed by this Court. Secondly, the Tender notice was published in respect of the year 2009-2010. Thus, the period for which the Tender notice was issued expired long back in the year 2010. Consequently, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
