Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents (a) by giving financial assistance to deceased farmers by paying sum of Rs.10,00,000/- per head who are all expired from August, 2016 to till date (b) to consider the poor life of farmers by providing sufficient water for their crops; (c) deducting the entire interest of principal loan amount; (d) by taking insurance policy for the farmers and their family members and also for the cultivated crops and also give affordable price to their crops to be taken to market.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, an Advocate appearing in person seeks to raise the issue of financial assistance to the deceased farmers. The petition is based entirely on the newspaper reports alone with no other ground work. We may further note that the issue of farmers' suicide is receiving our attention in W.P.No.297 of 2017 and today's newspaper also contains the steps taken by the State Government towards ameliorating condition of the farmers.

2. We see no reason in entertaining the present public interest litigation on this issue and that too, only based on the press reports.
