Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioners have attained superannuation and therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.

2.Mr.Balan Haridas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that, though, he has not received any instructions from the petitioners so far, the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 may be recorded and the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. 3.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the event of any necessity, in accordance with law.
