ORDER

Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to comply the report submitted by the 3rd respondent by his office proceedings dated 18.01.2016 and consequently direct the respondents to restore the Patta No.785 and include the name of the legal heirs of the petitioner's father, viz., Jahangir Sahib.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the report submitted by the 3rd respondent, the 2nd respondent called for an enquiry and the petitioner has also submitted all the documents before the 2nd respondent on 30.12.2016 and in spite of the same, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the documents submitted by the petitioner and also the report of the 3rd respondent and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the documents submitted by the petitioner and also the report of the 3rd respondent and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
