This Court, by an order dated 28.03.2024, directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1/AC/2020 within a period of six months.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the petitioner/State submits that in this case now investigation completed, final opportunity notice was issued to the respondent/accused on 01.08.2024 and reply received on 21.09.2024. Thereafter finding the reply not satisfactory, charge sheet concluded and now it was sent for obtaining sanction for prosecution under Section 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. He further submits that once the sanction is obtained, charge sheet would be filed immediately. In any event, within a period of three months the entire proceedings would be completed.

3.Recording the above submission, further period of three months time is granted to complete the investigation in Crime No.1/AC/2020 and file final report.
