Habeas Corpus petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to direct the respondents to produce body of the petitioner's daughter Sri Kamu D/o late Ramesh, aged about 22 years before this Court.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner is the mother of one Ms.Sri Kamu, aged 22 years. According to the petitioner, her daughter Ms.Sri Kamu has been found missing from 19.12.2015 onwards. It is her further allegation that the second respondent has abducted her. Based on the complaint made by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.4329/2015 on the file file of the R.5, Virugambakkam Police Station, Chennai for "girl missing" and the same is under investigation.

2.Since, Ms.Sri Kamu was not traced by the Police, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. 3.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Ms.Sri Kamu was produced by the first respondent before this Court. The second respondent herein also appeared before this Court along with Ms.Sri Kamu. The petitioner is also present along with her learned counsel.

4.When we enquired, Ms.Sri Kamu, she informed the Court that on her own volition, she married the second respondent 20 days before in a Temple and she has been happily living with the second respondent as his wife. She has further submitted that there is no illegal detention. The said statement is recorded. 5.In view of the same, nothing survives in this petition.
