ORDER

This petition has been filed to issue a direction to withdraw the Crime No.266 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent and to transfer the same to the file of the third respondent to conduct further investigation and to file final report.

2. The petitioner has filed this petition to transfer the Crime No.266 of 2014 to the file of the third respondent for further investigation. The crime is of the year 2014. Now, almost three years have been lapsed after filing this petition and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the first respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.266 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
