ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.1701 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent and to quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that investigation in this case is completed and final report was filed. The final report is now taken cognizance by the learned Judicial Magistrate in C.C.No.314 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 448 and 427 of IPC.

3. In light of the completion of investigation, filing final report and taken cognizance by the learned Judicial Magistrate, prayer for quashing of the First Information Report cannot be sustained.

4. Therefore, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law.
