ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent submitted that the matter has been settled through mediation and they have also filed a memorandum of compromise to that effect.

2.The memo of compromise filed by both the parties is extracted hereunder:

"1.The petitioner herein filed HMOP No.210 of 2016 against the respondent for nullity of marriage under Section 12(1) (a) of the Hindu Marriage Act before the Sub-Court, Poonamalle. The above CRP has been filed against the dismissal order dated 25.02.2017 made in I.A.No.136 of 2017 in HMOP No.210 of 2016.

2.After due negotiation and as per the advice of the friends and relatives since the matrimonial life of the petitioner and respondent has irretrievably broken down, now the petitioner and the respondent after mutual discussion and negotiation have decided to file divorce petition mutually under Section 13 B of the Hindu Marriage Act before the concerned Court. On such petition for mutual consent is being filed the petitioner without any condition shall withdraw the H.M.O.P.No.210 of 2016.

3.The petitioner and the respondent have also agreed to return the respective articles in their possession before the filing of the petition for divorce by mutual consent. 2/4

4.In view of the decision to file Divorce Petition by mutual consent the petitioner and the respondent prays that this Civil Revision Petition may be disposed of on the above terms. It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to record this Memo of Compromise in the above C.R.P.No.1119 of 2018 and the same may be disposed of in terms of the compromise mentioned above."

3.Recording the submissions and the memorandum of compromise, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. The memorandum of compromise shall form part of this order. No costs.
