The petition is filed to withdraw HMOP.No.80 of 2023 pending on the file of the Sub Court at Chengalpattu and transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Thiruchirapalli.

2. The petitioner married the respondent on 30.04.2017 and they were blessed with a girl child on 11.08.2019. Thereafter, due to difference of opinion the parties separated. Thereafter, the respondent herein filed HMOP.No. 80 of 2023, on the file of the Sub Court at Chengalpattu seeking dissolution of their marriage.

3. The petitioner would submit that she along with her child are living with her parents at their house at Trichy. The petitioner would submit that she has to travel 305 Kms from Trichy to Chengalpattu to attend every hearing. The petitioner would submit that it is very difficult for her both physically and financially to attend every hearing. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/5

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would request the Court that the matter may be first referred to mediation.

5. The respondent through served has not entered appearance.

6. Considering the difficulty of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has to travel 305 Kms and she has to take care of her 3 year old child, the transfer petition is allowed as prayed for. The learned Family Judge, Thiruchirapalli, shall first refer the matter to mediation and thereafter dispose of the same.

7. With the above directions, the transfer petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
