(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii) (B) of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in Crime No. 1956 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police is before this court seeking anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. There are totally three accused involved in this case. The petitioner has been arrayed as A3 in the case. The petitioner is found to have been in possession of 1.25 Kgs of ganja. According to the learned Additional Prosecutor, the petitioner is having three other cases to his credit including a case of murder.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, nature and gravityof offences and also on considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this court is of the considered view that it is not a fit case where the request for anticipatory bail could be considered. Thus, the criminal original petition deserves only to be dismissed.
