The matter was posted for hearing on 11.10.2018, 25.10.2018, 31.10.2018 and also today and during all these hearings, there was no representation for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent had already submitted before this Court that the respondent has died and no steps have been taken to bring the legal representatives of the respondent. This Court repeatedly adjourned the matter to give a chance to the counsel for the petitioner to take steps. However, no steps have been taken till today.

2. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as abated. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
