ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM , J.) The writ of Habeas Corpus has been instituted to direct the second respondent to secure the petitioner's wife Smt.Pradhiksha.
2. The petitioner states that the marriage between the detenue and himself was solemnized and they started their matrimonial life. The father of the detenue died on 30.12.2024 and she went to her parents house. Thereafter, the detenue has not returned. Thereafter, the petitioner lodged a complaint, which resulted in filing of the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
3. The police secured the detenue and produced before this Court today.
4. We have examined both the detenue as well as the petitioner. The detenue
states that she married the petitioner and was living with him. She went to her parents house to attend the death of her father and thereafter, not returned. Now she is ready to resume the matrimonial home with the petitioner and the petitioner also informed this Court that he will take care of the detenue.
5. In view of the above factum, there is no illegal detention and the detenue is permitted to join with the petitioner.
6. Consequently, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of. [S.M.S., J.] [M.J.R., J.] 31.01.2025 Index :
