O R D E R
These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction forbearing the respondents from interfering with the movement of the petitioners' sugarcane cultivated by them to the area outside the State of Tamil Nadu.
2. These Writ Petitions have been filed in the year 2004 and now, the prayer sought by the petitioners in the above Writ Petitions have become infructuous. However, in a similar circumstances, the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.680 of 2003 by an order dated 03.11.2004 had passed the following order :- "The relief claimed by the appellants relates to the year 2000-2001. Now that the season is over, this writ appeal has become infructuous. However, it is made clear that if in case a similar cause of action arises in future, this order shall not preclude the appellants/petitioners from ventilating their grievance. No costs."
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that a similar order may be passed in these Writ Petitions.
3. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions have been disposed of with the following order :- "The relief claimed by the appellants relates to the year 2004. Now that the season is over, these Writ Petitions have become infructuous. However, it is made clear that if, in case, a similar cause of action arises in future, this order shall not preclude the petitioners from ventilating their grievance." No costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Petition Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
