2. Mr. M. Fakkir Mohideen, learned Standing counsel, appearing for the respondents produced a letter dated 25.11.2019 sent to him by the Superintending Engineer, Thiruppathur, informing him that the petitioner was permitted to retire from the services on 31.05.2017 without any conditions.
