PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.945 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent police to some City Crime Branch/CB-CID for further investigation and file final report within a stipulated period of time. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.945 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent police to some City Crime Branch/CB-CID. 1.Being dissatisfied with the investigation done, the present petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation.

2.Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pending this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings, the third respondent has completed the investigation and filed final report and the case also taken up in PRC.No.55 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur and is pending committal.

3. At this Juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would further pray that the accused are notorious elements and thereby a direction may be given to the learned Judicial Magistrate to commit the case to the Court of Sessions at the earliest.

4. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed as infructuous. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, is directed to take steps to commit the case in PRC.No.55 of 2021 to the Court of Sessions as expeditiously as possible.
