ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to the 1st respondent/ the Special Deputy Collector, Revenue Court at Thiruvarur District, to dispose of a 1/4

representation given on 26.08.2022, by the petitioner herein.

2. The 2nd respondent, T.Govindasamy @ Kittu Pillai is stated to be a cultivating tenant under the petitioner herein. His name is entered in the register of the cultivating tenants maintained by the Revenue Officials. The petitioner claims that the 2nd respondent has to pay the arrears of rent to the petitioner.

3. In this connection, the petitioner had given a representation to the 1st respondent/The Special Deputy Collector, Thiruvarur District.

4. Aggrieved that no steps have been taken, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

5. Mr. S. J. Mohammed Sathik, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent.

6. Let me not issue notice to the 2nd respondent. I must place an 2/4

obligation on the 1st respondent, to dispose of the said representation given by the petitioner dated 26.08.2022, on or before 31.03.2023.

7. Prior to disposing it of, notices must be issued both to the petitioner and to the 2nd respondent. Thereafter, the records may be examined and a definite finding must be given about the arrears of rent, if any, by the 2nd respondent and the matter may be proceeded in manner known to law.

8. Recording as above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
