This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to deal with the application submitted by the petitioners on 12.12.2024, wherein, the petitioners are seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2.Heard Mr.H.Rambabu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.
3.The petitioners are claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered Settlement Deed dated 07.06.2010. The further case of the petitioners is that the patta in Patta No.13787 stands in the joint name of the petitioners. The petitioners wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries. The representation made by the petitioners was not considered and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/4
4.In the considered view of this Court, the petitioners must make an on-line application before the 2nd respondent seeking for the survey of the subject property by paying the necessary charges. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall act upon the application and conduct the survey of the subject property, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the on-line application. The survey shall be conducted in the presence of all the interested parties. 5.In the result, this writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
