This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the second respondent to trace out and produce the detenud, by name, Ramya @ Rasathi and minor child Srinithi, wife and daughter of the petitioner.

2.Both the petitioner and his counsel are not present. 3.The second respondent, viz., the Inspector of Police, Jolarpet Police Station, Vellore District, has produced the alleged detenu.

4.Since the petitioner is not present, identification cannot be made. Under such circumstances, this petition is liable to be dismissed.
