Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the compensation at the present market rate or in the alternative convey a land of 50 cents in the neighborhood of the petitioner's land situate at Survey No.850/1 measuring an extent of 0.50 acres at Chennathur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District to the petitioner and pass suitable orders.

When the matter was taken up consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the parties have executed a deed of exchange dated 23.12.2014, in respect of the land in question and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
