Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order dated 27.03.2003 in R.C.No.40025/AP.II(3)/2003 of the 1st respondent herein confirming the order dated 10.04.2001 in C.No.B1/Appeal.18/2001 of the 2nd respondent herein confirming the order dated 25.08.2000 in PR.63/2000 of the 3rd respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to reinstate the petitioner in service as Constable of Armed Reserve, Sivaganga, with effect from 18.09.2000 with all attendant benefits.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner filed a memo dated 12.11.2019 wherein he has stated that the registered letter sent to the petitioner was returned with an endorsement that the addressee/petitioner had expired. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since no steps have been taken sofar to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner, the Writ Petition may be dismissed as abated.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs.
