2024-06-14Honourable Mr Justice S.S. Sundar,Honourable Mr Justice D.Bharatha Chakravarthy3 pages

in Rev.Appl.SR.Nos.143196 & 143197 of 2023 S.S. SUNDAR , J.

and D. BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY , J.

[Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.] These petitions are filed to condone the delay of 608 days in preferring the above Review Applications.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, the petitioner has given sufficient reasons. The petitioner states that her husband died due to Covid-19 and he is the one who was aware of the facts and about the proceedings. It is now admitted before this Court that the petitioner had preferred a Special Leave Petition as against the judgment of this Court and the Special Leave Petition was dismissed on 16.01.2023. The further delay after the disposal of the Special Leave Petition is also explained, as the petitioner lost her husband and he was the one who was totally unaware of the proceedings which were pending before this Court and before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. Though the delay is inordinate, this Court, showing leniency, is inclined to condone the delay, accepting

the reasons stated by the petitioner.

3.Accordingly, the delay is condoned and these petitions are ordered.
