By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.Era.Premnath, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner of the properties admeasuring to an extent of 270 Feet East West and 71 feet North-South, situate at Salamedu Village, Villupuram Taluk and District in S.Nos.15/2A and 15/4 through a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.80/1984 dated 01.10.1983 and he submitted an application/representation dated 11.01.2017 to the respondents seeking for transfer of patta in his favour and also paid the prescribed fees and despite the receipt and acknowledgment, so far, no steps have been taken to effect transfer of patta and therefore, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Era.Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 2nd respondent to put the concerned person/s on notice and thereafter, consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.01.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
