This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 23.08.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2.Heard Mr.K.S.Karthik Raja, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.
3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a Sale Certificate dated 10.02.2022. The patta was also transferred in the name of the petitioner through proceedings of the Tahsildar dated 08.07.2022 and the Thoraya Patta was issued in Patta No.42. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. Hence, a representation was made. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a 2/4
proper online application before the 2nd respondent by paying the necessary charges seeking for survey of the subject property. On receipt of the same, the 2nd and 3rd respondents shall act upon the same and conduct the survey for demarcation of boundaries based on the title document and the patta that has already been issued. That process shall be completed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the on-line application from the petitioner.
