ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous and no further adjudication needs to be made in respect of the grounds raised in the writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner also made the following endorsement: "By order dated 28.0.52009, the petitioner has been promoted as deputy B.D.O with retrospective effect and is placed 58 in seniority list. Hence, the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous."
