This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property by considering the representation dated 27.07.2024.

Heard Mrs.D.Kalaimani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for Respondents 1 and 2.

The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale deed dated 12.03.2024. The further case of the petitioner is that the patta stands in the name of predecessor in interest viz., Seeyathammal. After the purchase of the property, an on-line application was submitted by the petitioner seeking for transfer of patta in her name. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this 2/5

Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner and pass necessary orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
