PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ by directing the respondents to refund the compensation charges of Rs.1,17,388/- to the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2003 and 18.08.2003.

The limited prayer in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondents to refund the compensation charges https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Rs.1,17,388/- based on the representation dated 25.04.2003 and 18.08.2003. Since the representation is pending before the respondents herein, it would be appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

2. Nevertheless, since both the representations are of the year 2003, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a suitable representation to the 2nd respondent seeking for compensation charges. On receipt of such a representation, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on its own merits.

3. The petitioner is at liberty to rely upon the decisions of this Court reported in WP.No.17008 of 1999 and 2245 of 2000, which is produced before this Court along with all necessary supported documents.

4. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition stands ordered. No costs.
